Science Exhibition 2014 details are given as under.
All children are naturally curious to know and learn. They learn through interaction with the natural environment, material things and people around them and construct new knowledge based on their existing ideas and variety of new active learning experiences provided to them.
With the objective of providing such experiences, the Board has initiated a variety of meaningful steps to strengthen Science education at school level. One such step refers to the organisation of Science exhibitions at regional level and national level. These exhibitions are aimed at promoting students’ interest in the subject as well as provide common platform to them to give shape to their creative and innovative ideas. Based on past experiences and an encouraging and enthusiastic response from schools, The main theme and sub-themes for this year’s Science Exhibition are:
Main Theme: Science and Technology for global sustainability
Sub-Themes:

Agriculture and Food Security
Harnessing Energy
Conservation of Natural Resources
Combating climate changes
Disaster Management
Mathematical modelling

St. John Bosco High School & Junior College Of Badlapur held Science Exhibition on Dt. 6/01/2014 more than 180 students participate for the Science Projects Work .3 Panel Judges name Miss. Doipodhe, Miss. Chauraisya & Miss. Rai from Don Bosco[Mumbai Branch] were present for the Science Fair in the field of Physics Chemistry & Biology. Near 65 Exhibits with innovative things was been observe. The crowd was approximately 2 thousand above. Lightning the lamp by the parents, speeches given by the Zilla Parishad  Princpal. Mr. Anand SonKamble, from Larson & Toubro Mr. Sanjay Panchal , Principal: Brother V M Rao, Head Mistress: Miss. Kala V Rao . Science and technology have continually modified human existence through the engineering process. As a profession the scientist of today is widely recognized.
