| | It all began 25 years ago when I was just a child. One ordinary day, I had an accident that changed everything — I got my finger pinched in the hinge-side of a door. I can still remember the excruciating pain, crying for hours, unable to eat, and watching my finger swell up for a week. My father, Mr. Ashok Pithwa, couldn't bear to see me suffer. He knew he had to do something to prevent this from happening again — not just to me, but also for my younger brother, Siddharth. That's when he came up with the idea to create a product that would completely cover the hinge side of the door gap. This was the birth of FINGUARD, our patented Universal Hinge-Side Door Guard. Years later, as my brother and I joined the family business, we added to his vision with innovative solutions like the Butterfly Lock-Side Guard to prevent door slams. Together, we've created products that have saved millions of fingers — and counting. |
